Afognak Diversified Services, Inc a company of Afognak Native Corporation has opportunities for Armed Security Officers. The role of the Armed Security Officer is a full-time position located in Denver, Colorado in support of a commercial aviation manufacturer.

Alutiiq Diversified Services provides armed Security Officers in support of an aviation assembly plant. The role of the ArmedSecurity Officer includes but is not limited to a variety of security related duties.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in English reading/writing
• Must demonstrate excellent skill using Microsoft applications
• Must be able to learn new computer programs and applications
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays
• Must pass criminal history background check
• Must have armed security licensing and possibly concealed carry permit

Responsibilities

• Respond to a variety of calls/incidents
• Safeguard and secure scenes
• Perform crowd control when needed
• Conduct personnel, vehicular, and building facility checks
• Provide first aid and CPR as required
• Complete all required reports and forms via electronic security applications
• Operate security systems such as CCTV, access control, and emergency notification systems
• Maintain weapons and grooming standards per policy
• Escort persons and equipment as needed
• Perform other assignments per SOPs

POSITION OVERVIEW AND PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):

Afognak Diversified Services, Inc a company of Afognak Native Corporation has opportunities for Armed Security Officers. The role of the Armed Security Officer is a full-timeposition located in Denver, Colorado in support of a commercial aviation manufacturer. Alutiiq Diversified Services provides armed Security Officers in support of an aviation assembly plant. The role of the ArmedSecurity Officer includes but is not limited to a variety of security related duties.

• Responding to a variety of calls/incidents.
• Safeguard and secures all scenes.
• Performs crowd control when needed.
• Performs personnel, vehicular, and building facility checks.
• First Aid and CPR as required.
• Completes all required reports, forms, and other established procedures via electronic security applications.
• Must be familiar with various Security systems such as: CCTV's, access control, emergency notification systems, and mobile security applications.
• Safely maintains and qualifies with assigned weapons, maintains uniform and grooming standards in accordance with company policies.
• Safeguards all assets, provides motorist assistance and escort persons and equipment as needed.
• Conducts other assignments in accordance with establishedSOP's.

Pay rate:$26.00 to $27.79 Hourly

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Successfully pass a criminal history background investigation
• Must Speak English fluently; read and comprehend written English.
• Must be able to demonstrate excellent skill using Microsoft applications
• Must be capable of learning new computer programs and applications
• Must be able to work various shifts, to include weekends and Holidays
• Must be able to successfully complete approximately 80 hrs. of company provided training. (Classes are scheduled 7 days a week)
• Must be able to successfully complete a pre-employment physical exam and drug screen
• Must be able to successfully complete a pre-employment Physical Readiness Test
• Must be able to successfully complete and pass all company provided training; to include Expandable Baton, Defensive Tactics, and incident report writing.
• Must have a clean Driving Record
• Must possess and maintain state required Armed Security Officer licensing
• Must possess and maintain state required Concealed Carry Permit (where applicable)
• Must be self-motivated and have the ability to work with little supervision

Education:

• Three (3) years security experience within past five (5) years, or
• An Associate’s degree, or at least 60-semester hours college credit in any field of study, or
• Three (3) years military or National Guard experience, (active or reserve) or
• Successful completion of Police Officer Standard Training (POST) course, or Any reasonable combination of the above.
