Job summary

City Security Services in Houston is seeking an Armed Security Professional for transit centers. You will patrol, monitor traffic, and maintain a visible security presence to deter incidents.

Ideal candidates hold an Active Level III Commissioned Security License, a valid Driver's License with a clean record, and at least 5 years of verifiable security experience; you must pass PRT and drug screening and have a high school diploma or higher.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Conduct foot patrols within a transit center.
• Monitor traffic and maintain a visible security presence.

• Respond to complaints, disturbances, and suspicious activity.
• Complete Daily Activity Reports and Incident Reports.
• Contact law enforcement, fire, or EMS as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service while ensuring safety.

Pay: $22/hr

Location: Houston, TX 77030 (Houston)

Schedule: Full-Time, Overnight, 40 hours/week

• Saturday:22:00 - 06:00
• Sunday:22:00 - 06:00
• Monday:22:00 - 06:00
• Tuesday:22:00 - 06:00
• Wednesday:22:00 - 06:00

City Security Services is seeking a professional, dependable, and alert Armed Security Officer to provide security services within a Transit Center. In this role, you will conduct foot patrols, monitor trespassing, loitering and respond to security incidents, and maintain a visible security presence throughout the property. Successful candidates must be able to remain calm under pressure, exercise sound judgment, and handle emergency situations with professionalism and confidence.

Responsibilities:

• Conductfoot patrols throughout a transit center
• Monitortraffic on the property
• Use professional communication and de-escalation techniques when interacting with upset, disruptive, or uncooperative individuals.
• Respond tocomplaints, disturbances, and suspicious activity
• Complete detailed Daily Activity Reports and Incident Reports
• Contact law enforcement, fire, or EMS personnel when emergency situations arise
• Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining a visible security presence

Requirements:

• Active Level III Commissioned Security License
• Active Drivers License with a clean Driving Record
• Ability to pass a Physical Resistance Testing (PRT)
• Ability to successfullypass a Drug Screening/Physical Examination
• Verifiable High School Diploma, College Degree or Transcripts
• 5 years of verifiable security experience
• Reliable attendance and ability to work
