Job summary

City Security Services is seeking an Armed Security Professional for a busy Transit Center in Houston. This part-time overnight role requires a vigilant, calm responder who can patrol, monitor, and quickly address security incidents while providing customer service.

Candidates must hold an Active Level III Commissioned Security License, a valid driver’s license, pass a PRT and drug screening, have a HS diploma or higher, and possess 5 years of verifiable security experience.

Qualifications

• Active Level III Commissioned Security License is required.
• A verifiable high school diploma, college degree or transcripts are acceptable.
• 5 years of verifiable security experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct foot patrols and monitor trespassing, loitering, and security incidents.
• Maintain a visible security presence and respond to emergencies professionally.
• Complete daily activity and incident reports and coordinate with emergency responders.

Pay: $22/hr

Location: Houston, TX 77054 (Houston)

Schedule: Part-Time, Overnight, 24 hours/week

• Sunday: 06:00-14:00
• Monday: 06:00-14:00
• Tuesday: 14:00-22:00

City Security Services is seeking a professional, dependable, and alert Armed Security Officer to provide security services within a Transit Center. In this role, you will conduct foot patrols, monitor trespassing, loitering and respond to security incidents, and maintain a visible security presence throughout the property. Successful candidates must be able to remain calm under pressure, exercise sound judgment, and handle emergency situations with professionalism and confidence.

Responsibilities

• Conduct foot patrols throughout a transit center
• Monitor traffic on the property
• Respond to complaints, disturbances, and suspicious activity
• Professionally address loitering, disruptive behavior, unauthorized access, and violations of property rules.
• Maintain a professional appearance, demeanor, and level of alertness throughout the entire shift.
• Complete detailed Daily Activity Reports and Incident Reports
• Contact law enforcement, fire, or EMS personnel when emergency situations arise
• Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining a visible security presence

Requirements

• Active Level III Commissioned Security License
• Active Drivers License with a clean Driving Record
• Ability to pass a Physical Resistance Testing (PRT)
• Ability to successfully pass a Drug Screening/Physical Examination
• Verifiable High School Diploma, College Degree or Transcripts
• 5 years of verifiable security experience
• Reliable attendance and ability to work
