Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to transit personnel, passengers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of transit facilities, platforms, entrances, perimeters, and other areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Respond to incidents calmly and in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Monitor access points and support authorized entry for employees, contractors, and visitors.
• Prepare clear and accurate incident reports and communicate relevant information to supervisors.

Pay Rate: $33.70 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to transit personnel, passengers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of transit facilities, platforms, entrances, perimeters, and other assigned areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security‑related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following applicable policies and procedures.
• Monitor access points and support authorized entry procedures for employees, contractors, and visitors at assigned locations.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports regarding incidents, observations, and security‑related activities, and communicate relevant information to supervisors and appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid concealed carry weapons permit.
• Possess a valid law enforcement officer license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
