Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced in Lancaster, TX. The armed guard role offers fixed anchor shifts and the ability to pick up extra shifts to increase earnings, with a $20.25 per hour pay rate.

Responsibilities include access control, patrols of facilities, incident response, and reporting. Must have Level III Armed Certification in Texas, be 21+, and pass background and drug screening. The position supports part-time schedules with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Armed Certification required (Texas Level III).
• Armed guard card/licence preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is a plus.
• Must be 21 years of age or older for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screening required by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and utility personnel following site procedures.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of facilities and restricted areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and report suspicious activity.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and emergencies; coordinate with responders.
• Prepare daily activity and incident reports and maintain equipment proficiency.
