Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company, seeks an Armed Security Guard - Experienced in Tucson, AZ. You will protect government locations, conduct armed patrols, monitor access points, and provide professional customer service to visitors and staff.

This full-time role offers a stable schedule (Mon-Fri 7:30-4:30) and a pay rate of $23.00 per hour. A valid armed guard card, 1+ year experience, and high school diploma are required, with training and benefits provided.

Formación

• Minimum 1 year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Pepper spray certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted per laws.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsabilidades

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a government services location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned interior and exterior areas, including building entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for individuals entering restricted areas in accordance with applicable policies and procedures.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required documentation related to patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a government services location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as directed by site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned interior and exterior areas, including building entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for individuals entering restricted areas in accordance with applicable policies and procedures.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required documentation related to patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Pepper spray certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
