Allied Universal in Tucson, AZ is seeking an Armed Security Officer - Patrol Specialist to safeguard government locations and provide excellent customer service during daily patrols. You will monitor access points, respond to incidents, and maintain detailed reports as part of a professional security team.

The role requires at least 1 year in armed security or related fields, with an armed guard card or license and a high school diploma.

• Conduct regular armed patrols of interior and exterior areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry; report suspicious activity and policy violations.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain documentation for patrols, incidents, and observations.

Job Description

As a Armed Security Officer - Patrol Specialist in Tucson, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a government services location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disruptive behavior, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior and exterior areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site policies; report suspicious activity, prohibited items, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required documentation for patrols, incidents, observations, and interactions with the public.

Minimum Requirements

• At least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience is required.
• An armed guard card or license is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
