What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, patients, donors, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to the location, verify authorized entry, and assist with visitor and contractor screening in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and security-related activities, and maintain professional communication with site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
• Possess at least six months of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
