Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Security Officer - Experienced in Phoenix, AZ to safeguard government facilities and employees. You will patrol, monitor access points, deter incidents, and provide exemplary customer service with a professional demeanor.

Qualified candidates have an armed guard card, at least 1 year in security/military, and meet age and education requirements. This full-time role offers shift coverage and opportunities for growth within a large security services

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Armed Guard Card or License.
• Must be at least 21 years old for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by federal, state, and local laws; drug screening required.

Responsabilités

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public while following security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies in a calm, professional manner and contact appropriate personnel or emergency services as needed.
• Perform regular and random armed patrols of buildings, parking areas, entry points, and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity and identify concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization, and document observations and incidents.
• Follow post orders, laws, and Allied Universal procedures while performing armed duties.

What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a government services location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, offices, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, verifying authorization and documenting observations, incidents, and patrol activity.
• Maintain awareness of assigned areas and follow applicable laws, regulations, post orders, and Allied Universal procedures while performing armed duties.

Minimum Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
