- Observe and report activities and incidents at assigned locations, ensuring the security and safety of client property, visitors, and personnel.
- Maintain order and enforce regulations and directives for the site concerning personnel, visitors, and premises.
- Control access to the client site and facility through the admittance process.
- Respond promptly in all situations.
- Monitor entrances and exits to prevent unapproved or unlawful entry.
- Patrol assigned sites, checking for unsafe conditions such as hazards, unlocked doors, and security violations.
- Protect evidence or scenes of incidents in case of accidents, emergencies, or security investigations.
- Prepare logs or reports as required.

Required (Minimum) Qualifications
- US citizen or Lawful Resident, current member of or honorable discharge from the US armed forces, and must have a social security card.
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent education documented on a DD-214, or completion of 60 credit hours in a related field from an accredited institution, or successful graduation from a federal/state certified law enforcement training course.
- Minimum of two years of Security/LE experience or two years of honorable service with the US Armed Forces.
- Minimum age of 21; fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing). A literacy test may be administered prior to employment.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics
- Ability to follow procedures and policies, including enforcement of rules and regulations.
- Attention to detail, good communication skills, and ability to produce clear reports.
- Ability to provide quality customer service.
- Ability to analyze situations, produce reports, and escalate issues appropriately.
- Ability to work independently or in small groups, resolve issues quickly, and work under minimal supervision.
- Physical ability to perform duties, including long periods of walking, standing, sitting, and stooping, in various weather conditions.
- Good sensory perception (sight, hearing, smell) to respond to alarms and emergencies.
- Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office, security cameras, and email.
- Reliable with a strong work ethic and transportation, with a valid driver’s license.
Preferred Qualifications
- Guard/clearance card
- CPR/First Aid/AED certification
Physical Requirements
Must meet physical demands necessary to perform essential functions, maintaining constant mental alertness. Accommodations may be provided for disabilities.
Additional Conditions
May require passing pre-employment drug screening, security training, background checks, and possessing or obtaining necessary permits and certifications.
Must pass a background check covering the last 10 years, drug screening, and possibly a physical agility test.
