Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced in Balch Springs, TX. The role offers flexible, anchor shifts with opportunities to pick up additional shifts to increase earnings, at a pay rate of $22.00 per hour.

The position supports a fixed-site schedule with a six-month commitment and may lead to a full-time path. The ideal candidate has a Texas Level III Armed Certification, at least 2 years of security experience, and strong customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Possess a Texas Level III Armed Certification.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as per laws.
• Drug screen as permitted by law.
• Participate in security training programs.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures at a financial institution.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of banking areas, offices, parking facilities, and the surrounding perimeter.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials as directed.

As a Security Officer Armed Enhanced Part Time Field Patrol in Balch Springs, TX, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri 08:45 AM - 05:15 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors while carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities at a financial institution.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of banking areas, offices, parking facilities, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and help maintain orderly entry and exit procedures.
• Prepare accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and security‑related concerns to site management, Allied Universal leadership, and appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security‑related experience.
• Possess a Texas Level III Armed Certification.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
