Qualifications

• 3+ years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or 5+ years armed security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required per policy.
• Must have Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years old for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to store customers, employees, vendors, and visitors while carrying out security procedures and policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations calmly and escalate as needed.
• Conduct regular armed patrols throughout the retail location to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and report security concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Complete daily activity reports and incident documentation while adhering to laws and policies.

As a Security Guard Armed Enhanced Part Time Mobile Response Driver in Dallas, TX, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $25.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 07:00 AM - 02:30 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to store customers, employees, vendors, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter areas, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity for unusual conditions, reporting security-related concerns, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation while maintaining required qualifications and following applicable laws and company policies for armed personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or 5+ years of armed security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
