Job summary

Allied Universal in San Antonio, TX is seeking a Security Flex Officer - Armed Part Time to provide reliable, schedule-flexible security at an assigned site. You will carry out security procedures, respond to incidents, and maintain daily activity logs while working daytime to late evening shifts.

Ideal candidates have a valid driver’s license, at least 21 years old, a Texas Level III Armed Guard, and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Possess a Level III Armed Guard in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by federal, state, and local laws.
• A drug screen may be required as applicable by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency responses when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the site to deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, alarms, and critical situations calmly and according to site procedures.
• Monitor access points, observe activity, and report suspicious conditions or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain required reports and documentation related to patrols, incidents, and daily security activities.
