Pay rate is $22.00 per hour. The role requires a Level III Armed Certification in Texas, at least two years of security experience, and a high school diploma. Training, benefits, and growth opportunities are provided by Allied Universal.

• A Level III Armed Certification in Texas is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background check and drug screening as per law.
• Licensing requirements may apply; driver’s license for driving roles only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and following established protocols.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of the facility, access points, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access to restricted areas and verify credentials; report suspicious activity.
• Complete incident reports and daily activity logs per Allied Universal procedures.

As a Security Officer Armed Enhanced Part Time Access Control in Dallas, TX, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeFri08:00 AM - 05:30 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established protocols and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, access points, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and report suspicious activity, hazards, or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation in accordance with site and Allied Universal procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least two years of security‑related experience is required.
• A Level III Armed Certification in Texas is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
