Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time in Dallas, TX. This position offers flexible fixed shifts with opportunities to pick up extra shifts via the scheduling platform.

You will perform access-control duties, monitor entry points, and respond to incidents while providing excellent customer service to clients and staff. Prior security experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

• Background check required by federal/state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service at a distribution site by enforcing access-control procedures and handling emergencies when needed.
• Monitor entry/exit points and verify credentials; maintain visitor/delivery records.
• Screen and direct drivers, vendors, and contractors to designated areas per access-control rules.
• Respond to access-control incidents and alarms calmly, escalating as needed through reporting channels.

Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Credential Verification in Dallas, TX, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $14.50 / Hour

Job Schedule: DayTimeMon04:00 PM - 10:00 PMTue04:00 PM - 10:00 PMThur02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a food and beverage distribution location by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access credentials, and maintain visitor and delivery records in accordance with site policies.
• Screen and direct delivery drivers, vendors, and contractors to appropriate receiving, loading, and designated areas while following access-control requirements.
• Respond to access-control incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established reporting channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, business areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
