Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time in Dallas, TX. You will provide customer service, monitor access, follow site procedures, and respond calmly to incidents, while maintaining logs and reporting concerns to leadership.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued license for security-related work is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, team members, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access to the retail location, verifying authorization for employees, vendors, contractors, and deliveries.
• Maintain visitor, vendor, and delivery logs and communicate access concerns to site contacts and leadership.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, following established protocols and documenting observations.
• Conduct regular patrols of entry points, receiving areas, sales floors, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized access.

Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Credential Enrollment in Dallas, TX, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $15.93 / Hour

Thur 12:30 PM - 07:00 PM

How This Role Works

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, team members, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access to the retail location, verifying authorization for employees, vendors, contractors, and deliveries in accordance with site procedures.
• Maintain visitor, vendor, and delivery logs and communicate access concerns or unusual activity to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and documenting observations as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, receiving areas, sales floors, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and report security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements

• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued license for security-related work is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
