Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, seeks a Security Officer Armed Communications Console in Marietta, GA. You will monitor communications, dispatch responses, and support access control at an aerospace/defense site, ensuring calm handling of incidents and professional coordination across shifts.

The role offers full-time hours, with a pay rate of $27.03 per hour, and opportunities for career growth within a dynamic, collaborative workplace.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or a college degree.
Armed guard card or license is required.
High school diploma or GED required by client.
Handcuffing certification preferred.
Able to lift up to 20 pounds (preferred).
Must be at least 21 years old for armed roles.
Background check required by law.
Drug screen required by law.
State/local licensing may be required.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors while supporting access-control activities at an aerospace and defense location.
Receive, document, prioritize, and dispatch security-related calls, alarms, service requests, and incidents to appropriate personnel.
Monitor communications systems, maintain dispatch logs, and relay information during routine operations and emergencies.
Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, following escalation/notification procedures.
Coordinate regular and random patrol assignments around the facility and perimeter.
