Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, seeks an Armed Dispatch Duty Controller in Marietta, GA. You will coordinate calls, monitor incidents, and maintain logs while providing outstanding customer service at an aerospace/defense site.

The role requires 3+ years security/military experience or a degree, an armed guard card, and the ability to lift up to 20 pounds. CPR/First Aid preferred.

Qualifications

• Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Be able to lift up to 20 pounds, preferred.
• Possess handcuffing certification, preferred.
• Possess CPR and/or First Aid certification, preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Licensing may be required by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and/or emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Receive, prioritize, and dispatch calls for service, alarms, access-control concerns, and other security-related incidents to appropriate personnel.
• Monitor communication channels and maintain accurate logs of dispatch activity, incident details, personnel status, and follow-up actions.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, escalating matters according to site‑specific procedures.
• Coordinate with site personnel, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership to support timely communication and incident response.
