Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Guard Armed Patrol in Los Angeles, CA. You will monitor access, deter incidents, and respond to emergencies while maintaining a professional presence in educational settings.

Responsibilities include patrolling assigned areas, reporting observations, and communicating with site contacts. The role requires 3+ years in security, a license or training, and the ability to work day/evening shifts.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security experience or a college degree.
• Graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program, or equivalent.
• 1+ years of armed security-related experience.
• 1+ years of law enforcement experience, 2+ years of security supervision, or 3+ years of security experience.
• Corrections Officer License (if applicable).
• Must be at least 21 years old for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and families.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and report suspicious activity.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies using established protocols.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of buildings, grounds, and perimeter.
• Prepare accurate activity, incident, and patrol reports and communicate findings.
