Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Guard Armed Patrol in Los Angeles, CA. This part-time position involves patrolling, monitoring access points, and reporting incidents to maintain a safe campus environment.

The role requires 3+ years of security or related experience, an armed security background, and a valid license where applicable. Expect a collaborative team setting with opportunities to grow through training and flexible shift options.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or a college degree.
• Graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program, or equivalent.
• 1+ years of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• 1+ years of law enforcement experience, 2+ years of security-related supervisor or manager experience, or 3+ years of security-related experience.
• Corrections Officer License.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and/or families by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and report unauthorized access or suspicious activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of school buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Prepare clear and accurate activity, incident, and patrol reports, and communicate observations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Pay Rate: $29.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:
