Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include 3+ years’ combined law enforcement, military, or security experience, or a college degree.
• Graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
• Armed security experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and/or families by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and report unusual activity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular armed patrols throughout campus buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Maintain documentation and communicate observations to appropriate personnel.
