Allied Universal in Los Angeles is seeking a part-time Armed Security Officer to patrol a financial institution and safeguard staff and visitors. You will carry out security procedures, respond to alarms, and maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, while delivering excellent service.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• Armed guard card or license required.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
• Must be 21 years or older for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and customers during security procedures and emergencies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and coordinate with site contacts and emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of the facility, access points, parking areas, and perimeter to deter incidents.
• Monitor restricted access areas, verify credentials, and document visitor activity and patrol observations.
• Maintain readiness and follow laws, post orders, and Allied Universal procedures for armed posts.
