Golden SVCS, LLC is seeking a Protective Security Officer for the Shenandoah Valley region (Harrisonburg, Staunton, Charlottesville) to protect federal property and employees. The role involves tours, access control, and enforcing regulations on personnel, visitors, and premises.

Responsibilities include controlling entry, monitoring access points, patrolling the site, and preserving evidence. The position requires FPS-related certifications and compliance with licensing standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in protecting federal property or similar environment preferred.
• Ability to document incidents and maintain logs accurately.
• Must demonstrate reliable judgment and integrity in security scenarios.

Responsibilities

• Control access to client facility through the admittance process and assist visitors.
• Monitor entrances/exits and direct people/vehicles as needed.
• Patrol assigned site on foot and respond to incidents per post procedures.
• Prepare logs or reports for post activity and incidents.
• Address emergencies including fire, medical, bomb threats, and hazardous materials according to procedures.
