Job summary

Golden SVCS, LLC is seeking a Protective Security Officer for the FPS College Park site. You will guard federal property and personnel, perform routine patrols, control access, and enforce regulations to maintain safety.

Responsibilities include monitoring entrances, responding to incidents, preparing logs, and coordinating with post procedures. The role requires security experience, FPS credentials, and Maryland handgun/guard licenses.

Qualifications

• Must be able to speak, read, and write using coherent English language.
• Must be 21 years old.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Must pass a physical and drug screen.
• Must pass a background check.
• Must be able to obtain contract suitability.
• Must have FPS experience and applicable qualifications as outlined below:
• Maryland Handgun and Guard License.

Responsibilities

• Control access to client facility through the admittance process.
• Monitor entrances and exits; prevent unapproved entry and direct traffic as needed.
• Patrol assigned site on foot.
• Protect evidence or scene of incident and provide direction during incidents.
• Prepare logs or reports as required for post.
• Respond to incidents following established procedures.
• Carry out tasks of a similar nature and scope as required.
