Job summary

The Protective Security Officer role at Golden SVCS, LLC is to protect federal property and employees, monitor access points, and perform regular site patrols to deter threats and ensure safety.

You will document incidents, respond to emergencies, and maintain logs. Applicants must meet FPS certification requirements, be a U.S. citizen, and pass background checks, drug screening, and suitability reviews.

Qualifications

• Must be able to speak, read, and write using coherent English language.
• Must be 21 years old.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Must pass a physical and drug screen.
• Must pass a background check.
• Must be able to obtain contract suitability.
• FPS Certifications

Responsibilities

• Control access to client facility through the admittance process.
• Monitors entrances and exits; prevents unapproved or unlawful entry; controls entrances, the movement of people and vehicles, and parking; operates a gate and examines vehicle contents.
• Patrols assigned site on foot.
• Protects evidence or scene of incident in the event of accidents, emergencies, or security investigations; sets up barriers and signage; and provides direction or information to others.
• Prepares logs or reports as required for post.
• Responds to incidents such as fire, medical emergencies, bomb threats, flooding, or other incidents following procedures.
• Carries out specific tasks and duties of a similar nature and scope as required for the assigned post.
