Allied Universal, North America''s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a part-time Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver in Burgaw, NC. You will patrol, deter incidents, and respond to security concerns while delivering excellent customer service at a government location.

Requirements include an armed guard card/license, at least 6 months of armed security or related experience, a valid driver''s license, and being 21 or older.

Qualifications

• Possess armed guard card or license.
• Six months armed security-related experience or military/law enforcement background.
• Valid driver’s license required per policy.
• Be at least 21 years old for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as required by law.
• Drug screen to extent permitted by law.
• Licensing rules may apply depending on state/local laws.
• Driver license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide security to staff, visitors, and authorized individuals following site policies.
• Respond to incidents calmly and report as required.
• Conduct armed patrols of buildings, grounds, and parking areas to deter incidents.
• Monitor access to restricted areas and verify credentials.
• Maintain logs and communicate observations to the team; handle weapons per protocol.
