• Valid driver’s license required.
• Armed guard card or license preferred.
• Must be 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as per federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Industry-specific security training participation.
• Licensing may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and residents at a government corrections location.
• Respond to incidents calmly and follow post orders and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, perimeter areas, access points, and parking areas.
• Monitor access to designated areas, verify credentials, and report suspicious activity.
• Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and other documentation accurately and promptly.
