Job summary

Golden SVCS is seeking a Protective Security Officer in Stafford, VA to protect federal property and employees. The role includes monitoring access, patrolling the site, and responding to incidents with established procedures. Candidates must meet FPS licenses, be a US citizen, and pass background and drug screening.

Qualifications

• Must meet FPS Protective Security Officers licensing requirements.
• Must be able to speak, read, and write coherent English.
• Must be 21 years old.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Must pass a physical and drug screen.
• Must pass a background check.
• Must be able to obtain contract suitability.
• Must have Virginia Handgun and Guard License.

Responsibilities

• Control access to client facility through the admittance process and assist visitors.
• Monitor entrances and exits and direct the movement of people and vehicles.
• Patrol assigned site on foot.
• Protect evidence or scene of incidents and provide directions.
• Prepare logs or post-activity reports as required.
• Respond to fires, medical emergencies, bomb threats, and other incidents following procedures.
