Job summary

Securitas USA in Newport News, VA is hiring for Armed Security Officer, Licensed Security Officer and Event Officers. Full- and part-time shifts are available with weekly pay and comprehensive benefits.

The roles require 1 year of security experience, a valid driver’s license, a HS diploma or GED, and the ability to pass background and drug tests. Applicants should demonstrate excellent communication, professional appearance and flexibility to cover events and shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ and pass a lifetime background & drug test.
• Minimum of 1 year of security experience.
• Must have a flexible schedule and be able to cover events/shifts as needed.
• Valid Driver’s license and High School Diploma or GED required.
• Excellent communication skills and professional appearance required (no visible piercings/tattoos unless authorized).

Responsibilities

• Observe and report activities and incidents at client sites.
• Ensure security and safety of client property and personnel.
• Meet and comply with state/county/municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guard.
