Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. is hiring for Armed Security Officer, Licensed Security Officer and Event Officer roles at our Newport News location. Positions include both full-time and part-time shifts with weekly pay.

The pay ranges from $17.00 unarmed to $20.00 armed per hour, with growth opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package. Applicants must be 18 or older, pass a background and drug test, have at least 1 year of security experience, and be available to work weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to pass background and drug tests.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Observe and report activities at client sites to ensure safety and security.
• Respond to incidents and maintain order according to client requirements.
• Monitor surveillance equipment and patrol assigned areas.
• Meet state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guard.
