Securitas USA is hiring for Armed Security Officer, Licensed Security Officer and Event Officers in Newport News, VA. Positions include both full- and part-time shifts with weekly pay and growth opportunities.

A strong emphasis is placed on professional appearance, reliability and excellent customer service. Applicants must be 18+, pass a background check and drug test, have at least 1 year of security experience, and hold a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• pass a lifetime background check and drug test.
• Minimum of 1 year of security experience.
• Must have a flexible schedule.
• Must be able to cover all events and shifts as needed.
• Valid driver's license.
• Excellent communication skills and be professional.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Observe and report activities and incidents at client sites.
• Ensure security and safety of client property and personnel.
• Physical requirements include standing, walking, and occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
