Securitas USA is hiring for Armed Security Officer, Licensed Security Officer, and Event Officers at client sites in the Newport News, VA area. Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Pass a lifetime background check and drug test.
• Minimum of 1 year of security experience.
• Flexible schedule required to cover events and shifts.
• Valid Driver’s license is required.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Excellent communication skills and professional appearance are required.

Responsibilities

• Observe and report activities and incidents at client sites to protect property and people.
• Frequent sitting, standing, and walking; may include stairs and uneven terrain.
• Pass drug screen and background check as part of employment.
• Meet and maintain licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guard.
• Provide courteous customer service and respond to security events as needed.
