Job summary

Securitas US Business Unit is seeking Armed Security Officers, Licensed Security Officers and Event Officers for open interview days at 12350 Jefferson Ave, Newport News, VA. Positions include armed and unarmed guards, with weekly pay and opportunities for growth.

A valid license and the ability to cover shifts are required. Applicants should be 18+, pass background/drug tests, have at least 1 year in security, and demonstrate excellent communication in a professional appearance.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 or older and able to pass background and drug test.
• Minimum of 1 year of security experience.
• Must be able to cover all events and shifts as needed.
• Excellent communication skills and professional appearance.
• Must have valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Observe and report activities at an assigned client site to protect property and personnel.
• Frequent sitting, standing and walking; may involve stairs and uneven terrain.
• Lifting up to 10 pounds regularly and up to 25 pounds occasionally.
