Qualifications

• Minimum requirements: armed guard card or license.
• At least 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Must be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Must be at least 21 years old for armed roles.
• Allied Universal may consider applicants with criminal histories.
• Background check and drug screen as a condition of employment.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees and the public by following security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents calmly and contact appropriate personnel or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of government facility grounds and perimeter locations to identify unusual activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, maintain logs and report unauthorized access.
• Prepare clear incident and daily activity reports and communicate observations to leadership.
