Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Armed Driver Site Security in Signal Hill, CA. This part-time role focuses on mobile patrols and a visible presence to deter incidents while delivering excellent service.

Shifts run Saturday 4:00 PM–12:00 AM and Sunday 8:00 AM–4:00 PM. Pay is $22.00 per hour. Candidates must meet armed-guard requirements and pass background checks and drug screening as applicable.

Qualifications

• Must possess an armed guard card or license.
• Six months of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Valid driver’s license per policy requirements.
• Comfort with using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Age 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check conducted per federal/state/local laws.
• Job requires drug screening as permitted by law.
• Industry-specific security training participation.
• State/local licensing requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public per site procedures.
• Respond calmly to incidents and emergencies following established protocols.
• Conduct regular patrols of facilities, grounds, parking areas, and perimeters.
• Monitor access points and assist with directions and information.
• Complete accurate activity reports and shift communications per site rules.
