Qualifications

• Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
• Have at least 6 months of armed security-related experience.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Experience using handcuffs, pepper spray, and/or a baton is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation as a condition of employment.
• Criminal history considerations per law.
• Drug screen as permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public by carrying out site-specific security procedures and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and inquiries calmly and professionally following protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of government facilities and surrounding areas to identify hazards.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management and directing guests.
• Prepare clear, accurate incident and activity reports per site requirements.
