Allied Universal, a leading security services provider, seeks a Part Time Armed Driver Protection officer in Signal Hill, CA. The role involves safeguarding government locations, patrolling sites, and delivering exceptional customer service while representing Allied Universal with integrity.

The position offers weekend shifts (Sat/Sun 3:00 PM–11:00 PM) and requires an armed guard card or license. A valid driver's license is also required; 21+ for armed roles and background checks apply.

Qualifications

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public according to site policies and emergency procedures.
• Regular and random patrols to identify hazards and report maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and document observations as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, public inquiries, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific requirements, documenting observations and assisting with access control procedures as assigned.
• Prepare clear and accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation, and communicate relevant information to site representatives and Allied Universal leadership.
