Allied Universal in Signal Hill, CA is seeking an Armed Driver Security Officer for part-time shifts to safeguard government locations and support a range of assignments. This role offers part-time hours with a pay rate of $22.00 per hour and a schedule including Tue 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM and Fri 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM; candidates must meet armed-guard requirements and

Qualifications

• Armed guard card or license required.
• At least 6 months armed security-related experience.
• Valid driver's license required per policy.
• Be at least 21 years old for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation will be conducted as required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Industry-specific security training programs required.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees and the public while following site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and inquiries calmly and according to protocols.
• Conduct regular patrols of government facilities and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and maintain logs and incident reports.
• Report maintenance concerns and suspicious activity to site contacts.
