Job summary

Walden Security is recruiting experienced Court Security Officers to provide armed security at courthouses under the USMS contract in Minot, ND. CSOs enforce access control, screen for weapons, and respond to security incidents to protect staff, jurors, and the public.

Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, at least three years of verifiable law enforcement experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to pass background checks and drug screening.

Qualifications

• Must have English reading/writing/speaking proficiency.
• High school diploma or GED required; 3+ years verifiable law enforcement/military equivalent experience.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record for past five years; DOJ clearance.
• Must be at least 21 years of age and able to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Perform entrance control and screen for weapons and contraband.
• Roving patrols of court facilities and grounds.
• Stationary posts including monitoring CCTV and alarm systems.
• Provide armed escort duties for judges and court personnel when directed.
• Direct traffic and pedestrian flow around court facilities when applicable.
• Enforce federal law and judicial orders within court areas.
