Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Armed Resource Campus for a West Palm Beach, FL location. This part-time role involves patrolling campus grounds, maintaining a visible presence, and ensuring a safe environment for students, staff, and visitors.

The position requires an armed guard card, CPL or license, and a valid driver's license. Responsibilities include responding to incidents, conducting patrols, and delivering exceptional customer service while following site-specific

Qualifications

• Possess a Certified Protection Officer certification.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Minimum of 2 years of law enforcement, corrections, military and/or degree in criminal justice.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Participation in industry security training programs.
• State/local licensing requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of campus buildings, parking areas, walkways, and perimeter areas; report hazards or policy concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and follow established protocols.
• Maintain assigned firearm and equipment per laws and Allied Universal policy.
• Prepare accurate reports and communicate observations to site leadership.
