WEG Electric Corp. – Electric Machinery Company, a division – in Minneapolis, MN, is seeking a Pole Winder for 1st shift. You will set up winding machines, mount conductors, apply insulation, and wind coils on poles.

The role requires reading winding specifications and operating bonding and epoxy processes while following ISO 9001 and OSHA guidelines. Qualified candidates will have a High School diploma (preferred) and manufacturing experience, plus certification readiness for overhead/jib

Qualifications

• Read prints and winding specifications.
• 1 year manufacturing experience preferred.
• Overhead crane/Jib crane and forklift operation certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up winding machine and mount conductors and insulation.
• Wind coils on fixtures or poles up to machine capacity.
• Read prints and winding specs to ensure correct windings.
• Operate bonding, trimming, punching, and epoxy applications as required.
• Maintain production records and ensure safety and OSHA/ISO standards.
