Job summary

Armada Area Schools is seeking a Special Services Instructional Aide for the 2026/2027 school year. The role supports middle school students in special services, with hours to be determined. The starting wage is $15.00 per hour, dependent on education.

The incumbent will assist students in meeting their fullest potential, establish rapport with pupils, motivate development, and foster positive relationships with parents, community, and staff.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree or Course Equivalent Preferred.

REPORTS TO: Building Principal and Director of Special Services
SALARY: starting at $15.00 per hour (dependent upon education)
JOB GOAL: To foster a school environment favorable to learning and personal growth
by assisting students in meeting their fullest potential; to establish
effective rapport with pupils; to motivate pupils to develop skills, attitudes
and knowledge needed to provide a good foundation for education in
accordance with each pupil’s ability; and to establish good relationships with
parents, community, and with other staff members.
EVALUATION: Performance of this position will be evaluated in accordance with the
provisions of the Board’s policy on Evaluation of Professional Personnel.
