Job summary

Arrow Components is seeking a Market Development Engineer to support customers’ technical needs around embedded processors and ARM Cortex-based cores. The role blends engineering leadership with strategic sales support across design and supplier networks.

The candidate will drive design-wins, champion ROI, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Hybrid work arrangement and participation in ArrowEDGE programs are expected. A strong background in embedded Linux/Android is preferred.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of related experience with a 4-year degree, or 5 years with advanced degree.
Experience in software/design engineering or Field Application Engineering.
Exposure to embedded processors and ARM Cortex-based cores.

Responsibilities

Champion return on engineering investment and drive demand through engineering content.
Support customers with technical leadership and solution selling.
Collaborate with sales across pre- and post-sales to promote demand creation.
Attend supplier trainings and participate in strategic branch meetings and QBRs.
Build relationships with suppliers and customers, manage expectations, and track progress on initiatives.
Participate in ArrowEDGE initiatives and organize engineering customer events.
Note: compensation plan includes variable OTE aligned with sales goals.
