Job summary

Legends Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, seeks an Operations Manager for Pechanga Arena San Diego. The role oversees daily operations, event services, ice maintenance and facilities management under the Director of Operations.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and at least five years in a supervisory role in a public assembly facility, with strong leadership, safety and payroll responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
• Five years' experience in a supervisory/management role in a public assembly facility.
• Ability to read blueprints/drawings and understand facility operations.

Responsibilities

• Assist Director in managing all operations aspects including event conversion, building/grounds maintenance, A/V, ice maintenance, seating and setup.
• Supervise full-time union staff: train, plan, direct, appraise, reward and discipline.
• Oversee capital expenditure projects for the building and facility operations.
• Ensure ice quality and readiness for practices, games, and events; coordinate with departments/contractors.
• Maintain safety, risk management procedures and emergency protocols; ensure compliance with policies.
• Handle daily payroll functions, timesheet approval and data entry; manage day-to-day operational tasks.
• Coordinate with tenants/clients and maintain equipment and inventory; manage supplies.
• Perform additional duties as assigned and work extended hours as needed.
