Job summary

University of Wisconsin–Superior is seeking a Wessman Arena Facility Attendant as a student hourly role. You will assist in arena operations, enforce campus recreation policies, verify access, and support concessions during home events and rentals.

Responsibilities include equipment check-out, event setup/tear down, customer service, and basic housekeeping to maintain a safe environment. This position emphasizes readiness, teamwork, and positive customer interactions.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service and enforcing arena/campus Recreation policies.
• Ability to verify access to facilities/programs by checking IDs or desk systems.
• Experience with equipment check-in/out processes.
• Experience in handling concessions during events and rentals.
• Good customer greeting and information delivery about department programs.

Responsibilities

• Operate Innosoft Fusion for POS, reservations, and equipment checkout.
• Assist with event setup, cleanup, or teardown.
• Maintain lost and found items and report incidents.
• Respond to emergencies and follow procedures with supervisor guidance.
• Perform light maintenance and cleaning to ensure safety and sanitation.
