Job summary

UW-Superior is seeking a Student Game Worker in the Athletics department to support game-day operations, greet attendees, and provide information on events and promotions. You will assist with setup and teardown and help drive participation in promotional activities.

The role is student hourly, requiring current UW-Superior enrollment and the ability to work nights and weekends. Compensation is $12.00/hour with weekly hour limits for international and domestic students depending on contract

Qualifications

• Must be a current UW-Superior student.
• Preference given to students who qualify for federal work study.
• Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Must demonstrate customer service skills.
• Must be available to work nights, weekends, and during breaks.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service at all UW-Superior athletic events
• Greet customers with a positive attitude
• Provide information regarding athletic events and promotions
• Assist in event set up and take down
• Encourage customer participation in promotional activities
• Retrieve and supply balls for players and officials during events
• Verify valid student identification cards
• Distribute coupons and other promotional materials as directed
• Dress in proper work apparel suitable to venue and weather
• Other duties as assigned
