Job summary

Oak View Group in Idaho is hiring an Operations Coordinator to support day-to-day arena operations and event setup. You will assist with event changeovers, maintenance, and ensuring the venue is safe, clean, and ready for concerts, sports, and community events.

The role collaborates with the Operations Manager and staff to execute varied configurations, handle routine tasks, and oversee housekeeping and inventory. It requires flexibility for early mornings, evenings, weekends, and long days.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in fast-paced, high-pressure environment and meet deadlines.
• Self-motivated with strong coordination and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of operational equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, scrubbers, and floor buffers.
• Ability to read AutoCAD drawings and blueprints.
• Flexible schedule including early mornings, days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Forklift certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate operation of all event changeovers (basketball floor, stage, chairs, signs).
• Perform routine tasks maintaining livestock arena, exercise arena, stall barn, facility floors, chairs, staging, risers, and inventory.
• Coordinate housekeeping services for the facilities.
• Assign work activities, monitor workflow, and resolve operational issues.
• Maintain an accurate record-keeping system for the hazardous materials communication program.
• Interact with clients, meet their needs within laws, provide facility needs, and perform custodial duties.
• Perform moderate to difficult set-ups in livestock facilities and work around some livestock.
• Operate machinery, including forklifts, skid steers, tractors, and pickup trucks.
• Review and coordinate the changeover work plan, facility maintenance, and operations
