Job summary

Oak View Group in Everett, WA is seeking a part-time Cook to prepare and package food in fast-paced concession stands and venue kitchens. You will operate kitchen equipment, ensure food quality and safety, manage portions, and track waste. Availability for evenings and weekends is required. This role pays an hourly rate of $22.00-$25.00.

Qualifications

• Previous cook or prep cook experience required.
• Ability to operate standard kitchen equipment (broiler, steamer, convection oven, mixer, slicer, knife).
• Ability to communicate clearly with staff and guests in a positive manner.
• Team oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment experience preferred.
• Food handling certificate if required by state/federal regulations; ServSafe preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, fresh food for delivery to guests.
• Prepare hot and cold foods following recipes and portioning requirements.
• Work as part of a team to ensure excellent service and product delivery.
• Report maintenance needs for kitchen equipment.
• Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas.
• Observe and test foods to ensure proper cooking.
• Portion, arrange, and garnish plates for delivery to guests.
• Consult with Executive/Sous Chef to plan menus and estimate food consumption.
• Demonstrate reliable attendance.
