Job summary

Legends Global is seeking an Ice Technician to maintain proper ice conditions at Toyota Arena in Ontario, CA. Under the Facilities Manager, you will operate the ice resurfacer and related equipment, perform daily maintenance, and ensure safety standards are met during events.

Requires a High School Diploma or GED, 0-1 year of ice resurfacing experience, and a valid CIT certification is desirable. The role is part-time, non-exempt, with a $30.25 hourly wage and union affiliation with Unite Here

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 0-1 years’ experience operating an ice resurfacer and ice making equipment.
• Desirable: 1-2 years’ experience operating an ice resurfacer and ice making equipment; Current CIT certification.

Responsibilities

• Operate ice resurfacing equipment in a professional manner.
• Complete daily maintenance logs and record ice conditions.
• Carry out ice maintenance duties according to operation needs.
• Monitor ice temperatures and communicate variances to supervisors.
