Braemar Arena is seeking Concession Stand Staff to deliver superior customer service, handle daily sales, answer questions about arena services, and maintain a clean concession area.
The role requires a friendly attitude, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, basic arithmetic, and reliable attendance; training will cover sanitization, inventory, and safety.
The position of Braemar Arena Concession Stand Staff is responsible for providing superior customer service and quality concession stand products to all Arena patrons. The Concession Stand Staff will also answer phone calls for the Arena and give information on birthday parties, facility rentals, skating lessons, open skating, fees, hours, etc. This position is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing the concession stand itself and the equipment/utensils used. This position reports directly to the Braemar Arena Assistant Manager.
In order to continue to meet the ever changing leisure needs and desires of the Edina residents, specific duties of the Arena Staff may change at any time as assigned by the Assistant Manager, Manager or Director of Recreation.
This individual must have excellent customer service skills, including professional appearance, be able to effectively meet and deal with the public, must be able to make quick and accurate arithmetic computations, have good communication skills. Must be able to work in a fast paced environment, able to handle multiple orders and duties at one time and stay even tempered.
The position is performed primarily indoors within a temperature-controlled environment.
